New Zealand Wine Review – Giesen, Wairarapa and Marlborough, Riesling 2013

Aroma: Very sweet and fruity with some floral hints.

Color: Translucent apricot lemon yellow. Good glow.

Body: Very light. Quite watery.

Taste: Very sweet. Did I mention sweet. A bit of olive oil, honey and butter but mostly sugar.

Cost: $NZD12 from Pak 'n Save Kilbirnie.

Quality rating: 2/5

Value rating: 3/5

Final words: I like all things sweet so this was okay for me. Definitely not for those who don't like sweet wines.
